the Sawatzky Nomad

We hope to keep all of our cross-provincial friends, and those abroad, updated with this blog. And maybe even hear from some who are long lost friends.

the joy of farm life

The first time Nadia saw Charlie Brown, the dog, she probably peed her pants. He snuck-up on her from behind and put his wet, cold nose on her. She turned around and freaked out! It was priceless...hilarious. Because her next reaction was sheer amazement. This huge dog thing was coming to play with her...cool. She loves Charlie Brown now, and he loves her because she is the perfect height to kiss. Yuck, dog kisses...Nadia loves them.

Nadia thought that since the dog was taking a rest on the deck than she should join in. So here they are relaxing on the deck together.

These little kittens live at the farm and Nadia couldn't stop herself from picking them up. I feel bad for the one, who she tried to grab by the scruff and missed just a hair, and grabbed him by the belly skin. Ouch! Can't say the cats love Nadia as much as the dogs.

And we saw chickens which Nadia also wanted to pick-up. Thanks Clint and Karen for letting Nadia explore around the yard. Soon you'll be sharing the joys with your own little one. Yeah, I can't wait!
