the Sawatzky Nomad

We hope to keep all of our cross-provincial friends, and those abroad, updated with this blog. And maybe even hear from some who are long lost friends.

random life

We had house church a while ago and these are our faithful attenders. Nadia was so excited that she went up stairs and begged to wear her special polka dot dress. Colin was up there too and also pick out a special shirt to wear...one of Nadia's. I was just surprised he didn't pick pink!

Tim keeps asking Nadia to help him drywall and she always tells him that she's too little. She has to be in school for that! The other day Tim asked again and she replied, "sure", not really believing that Daddy would let her. Well, was she ever surprised and excited to mud all the screw holes.
The final product. With only a little help from Daddy.
That same day Nadia and Colin helped clean-up some leaves from the front yard. I don't think Colin got any in, but boy did he ever try.
While we were outside the Rona delivery truck came...with our LAST order!!!! They sat and watched the stuff being loaded into the house. Colin went crazy because there was a truck, which he called a tractor.
Colin giving us his lion growl. I guess it would have been better as a video.
Nadia doing some kind of princess dance. She has names for most of them...like the flying pony dance and the spoon hopping dance...
My lovely hubby doing what he hates...ripping. Too bad he's so good at it. Good bye ugly green peel and stick. It was so...not durable...that Colin could pick it off.
And our two sweeties having a juice break together. That cup is just about as big as Colin. I just love the way he asks for juice...jsssssssssss.

Too cute!! Don't kids make you laugh sometimes? The spoon-hopping dance - that's great!

My neice and nephew are the cutest kids EVER! I love the Sunday home church and the costumes. But Nadia said home church is boring sometimes. So you may want to spice it up with candy or drawing pictures. Just a suggestion! :)
