more gypsy living: catching-up: part 2
At the end of July we headed up to Birch Hills, but the place we were to house sit was not ready, so a very kind couple let us stay at their place for a week. They were actually at the lake, so I guess we were house sitting there too. It was a great place, a lovely house on an acreage with lots of grass and trees. And the coveted orange cat. We found out later that orange cat is actually his name. Nadia had a blast with the cat and playing outside. She is such a farm girl!
Colin did what he does best...sleep!

I'm so glad you were able to do a couple of posts!!
Did you get to do some browsing around like you wanted?
There appears to be a lot of grass to cut at your place. Are these pictures of your permanent house sitting place or where you stayed temporarily? I saw pics from your mom and dad of your permanent place and, wow, stock up on gas for the lawn mower, and maybe a blade for the front of your car to get out in the winter. But, minus frogs, it looks like an awesome place to be.
It's so nice to hear you are in your community and coping well with gypsy living. :) We miss you guys, but this blog makes the province seem smaller. :)
So you are now in Birch Hills, my home town!!! If you come across any Skaars, tell them that Dave says "hi."
Dave? Dave Skaar? Is that really you? How can we contact you? Do you have a blog too?
